Blog # 13 Father Bischel and Friends

February 15^th, I had my first day of opening and closing the 253 Collective. I had a few visitors but, no sales.

The Rain was pouring down as I looked out the window and spotted Father Bischel, Professor Honey and Robert as they walked to a UWT memorial held on campus that afternoon. I will be getting together with Robert later this week and doing a shoot as he continues on his spiritual journey doing God’s Work.

This will be my first posting where I include images. I am thinking that this is the way for me to keep current with my Blog and image postings. My method that I am now using is not working.

Blog #12 253 Collective

Last month, I had joined the 253Collective in DownTown Tacoma. The staff had me up and running in a matter of days. I sent them an updated bio and a few images of my work and they had me posted and getting responses almost instantly.

My only responsibilities are a monthly membership fee of $30.00, attending a monthly membership meeting, working one Saturday every month and taking on one project. I chose to promote the group and add new members as my contribution.

As a member, they are giving me an exhibit to showcase my new work. I am choosing a DownTown Tacoma tragedy, the closing of the IGA grocery. April 17^th to May 15^th is the approximate date of the show.

If you are an artist or photographer and would like to have a venue to display and sell your work without paying a commission contact the collective and they will get you going.
