Blog # 2 Dr. John Carlos and Alec Clayton

Just posted two new shoots from last week. Dr. John Carlos at his lecture at University of Puget Sound on his 1968 Olympic moment that helped to change race relation's on our planet, then on Thursday of last week, I photographed critic, artist and writer Alec Clayton as he had a reading from his latest novel Return to Freedom at King's Books on Tacoma's St. Helens street. The reading was done by five local actors and I did not get their names but, I heard Tacoma Little Theatre mentioned so if I get over there someday I think that I might be able to do more portraits with them.

This technology stuff is exploding my head but, "poquito y poquito" I am learning. I still have not hooked my photography website to my blog but, that is coming!

Hey!!! This Hillbilly just linked Dr. John Carlos and Alec Clayton's names to their websites using the link feature! Oh my Garcious, I am a Genius...or maybe this blogspot stuff just makes everything so easy.

I did the linking with a trick that a true Genius taught me when I crawled thur web development at Tacoma's Bates technical college . Andrew, is his name and when it comes to anything web deveopment he had the answer. I would not have made it thru the course without his help.

Blog # 1 Maiden Voyage

10:00 PM and I start my first post.
Although it was as easy as anyone could possibly hope for, it was still a chore for my limited computer skills.

Last Friday night, I attended the Artists Reception at B2 (pronounced B squared) Gallery at 7th and St. Helens in downTown Tacoma. I lucked out and managed a conversation with Alec Clayton and his Wife "Gabby", she told me that he will be having a book signing at Kings Books this Thursday and Alec said that I could add him to my growing list of Portraits.
