Blog # 7 five shoots 2 extended, 3 quick

Aaniin,

I do not know how many bloggers that I have heard say this but, I am way behind on my blog!

Shoot 78 was “James of Tacoma”. He was my first Central School Portrait. I did not get the Tacoma Artist’s Initiative Program grant that I had applied for so, I will need to raise the money needed to fund the dozen, 24x36 inch canvas prints that I hope to exhibit in 2014 some other way.

Shoot 79 was “Alec of Tupelo and Gabi of New York”. I got to view the beautiful art at their home. The works were a combination of collected images and Alec’s own creations. I did not get to see any of his last showing at B2 (pronounced B squared) in Tacoma because they were still at Gary and Deborah’s Gallery.

Shoot 80 was “Ron of Nisqually and Janet of Tacoma”. They are such a couple that I did not get any individual images. I asked Ron, if I could get some of him at the river and hopefully that will happen next time we get together. Ron is very important in my life because, he goes back to before I have memories. One story my Mom told me, was her and Ron’s Mom left us in a crib together with a German Sheppard guarding us while they went out for a root beer or something and when they returned, the dog would not let them in the apartment!

Shoot 81 was “Dr.Felts”. I did not ask where she was born. I will have to get that next time. She is helping to get me back to work at my Door to Door job.

Shoot 82 “Lucille of Coulee Dam”, my love and my Muse!

Let me end with music from one the Baddest Ass Kickers of all time, because when we were teenagers, Ron was him and I was James Bond.
